Translation rights have been one of my favourite things about being a published author. Every so often I’ll get an email from my agent saying: “Would you like X monies for the book to be published in X language?” and once I give my unsurprising yes, I don’t have to do anything. Seriously, it just gets translated and published while I sit back and worry about other things.
I’m by no means a huge author, so these little bonuses are very welcome!
